Liz Craft’s new book …my life in the sunshine—Liz Craft 2006-2017 bears witness to a decade in the life of Craft’s practice as a surrealist sculptor and vivid visual artist. During a year of voluntary exile with her family in Germany in 2016, and temporarily breaking away from her longtime practice as a studio artist, Craft created this hybrid publication, revealing the common threads of life and art. Meditative and reflective, this new artist’s book reads like a rich visual guide to one artist’s life in the 21st century.
Liz Craft (born 1970) is a Los Angeles artist. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Otis Parsons in 1994 and a Master of Fine Art from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997.
